The Kossuth award-winning folk singer and the best female voice of the Petőfi Music Award will take the stage together at our special concert. As members of two generations, Irén Lovász and Дeva evoke continuity, the relationship between mother and daughter, and female creative power. The show is based on Irén Lovász's Női Hang and Gyógyító Hang albums, and their joint songs with Deva. Complemented by the violin playing of Zoltán Lantos, our folk music motifs are embedded in a specific fabric of contemporary world music. Irén Lovász's performance style is characterized by her decisive family roots, her voice inherited from her mother, the fact that she was born into the folk tradition, on the one hand, all the decades of conscious research work that her ethnomusicological and religious anthropological fieldwork, comparative research, studying the music and singing styles of Hungarian and other peoples, and sound therapy developed and applied with his practical courses, and then, finding his own voice, refined it into an essence. In the songs of his first LP, Дeva Csillag, folk music fabrics are mixed with tribal and electronic elements, so that the purity of folk songs touches today's generations in a reimagined form. Dorina Takács was already engaged in folk music as a child, and her old wish came true when she could sing together with Irén Lovász, since Irén's record at the beginning of her musical career gave her the strength to get to know herself: "I remember when I set off on a morning walk to the meadow near our house on a full moon, and Irén's voice was in my ear said: I also love the sun, I also love the moon." This is what they said in connection with their first joint performance, the 2022 Mother's Day concert at Várkert Bazaar. "Two women sing. They have only known each other for a short time, but their voices twist into each other as flexibly as if they were two branches of a single tree, the leaves of which become one inseparably in the crown." It can be read before the joint interview of Irén Lovász and Deva (Takács Dorina) in the December 2023 issue of KÉPMÁS MAGAZIN, which is Irén Lovász's Healing Voice. It was made in connection with his album presentation concert at the MÜPA:
